Scope of Practice
- General Pediatric Assessment
- Assessment and management of well and unwell newborn babies, infants and children with diagnosis and treatment either in an outpatient or inpatient setting
- Assessment of infants and children with General Pediatrics problems and Common Diseases, with Developmental and Behavioral issues and with Respiratory and Allergy issues
- Nutritional and diet advice for babies, infants and children
- Immunizations
- Growth follow-up
- Daily ward rounds (inpatient care) with patients' assessment and reviews with diagnosis and treatment
- Management of patients with chronic and severe conditions
- Performance of practical procedures such as peripheral venous cannulations, venous punctures, capillary blood gases and lumbar punctures, suprapubic bladder aspiration, urethral catheterization, nasogastric tube insertion in Pediatric patients on the wards and on the Accident & Emergency Department (A&E)
- Assessment, management, medical reviews with diagnosis and treatment of Accident & Emergency (A&E) patients whilst on-call
- Assessment and management of complex Pediatric patients and pre or post of Pediatric surgery patients

Community Outreach Activities/Achievements
- Volunteer work in order to collect medications and food and free of charge medical care to children and families who have been affected by the wildfires in Greece
- Teaching of Greek and English language courses free of charge in poor families including migrants in Greece
- Strong ecological conscience: Volunteer work and involvement toward conserving the unique Greek ecosystem such as beach clean ups, hard work whilst in Zakynthos island in order to conserve turtle populations in Greece, building of protective grids and ensuring the safe passage of the hatchlings to the sea
