Job Description:
- Cover inpatient wards day, evening, or night shifts (medical, surgical, pediatric, ICU, CCU, obstetrics), and when needed emergency and out-patient services.
- Provide safe and effective medical care under the supervision of a consultant
- Assess patient medical condition by interviewing patients, studying medical history, performing physical examinations, and interpreting test results.
- Create and recommend treatment plans in coordination with the consultant.
- Attend to patient bedside for all medical complains and respond to questions and concerns from patient and family members about their health care and well-being.
- Work closely with various medical staff namely nurses.
- Coordinate with all hospital resources to maintain optimal medical care
- Update patient medical chart by finalizing admission notes, progress notes, orders, discharge summaries, and writing prescriptions.
- Perform minor procedures within the scope of the training and experience such as suture removal, wound care, dressing change, IV insertion, etc..
Desirable:
- Can perform lifesaving procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, etc
- Assist in the operating theater when needed
Qualification requirements:
- Residency training in anesthesia/critical care, internal medicine, general surgery, pediatrics, or family medicine
- Documents in line for dataflow completion and QCHP registration
- Good level of spoken and written English skills
- Letter of good standing
Desirable:
- Fellowship
- Arabic proficiency
