Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy Unit at Aman Hospital, you will play a crucial role in assisting with endoscopic procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to provide excellent care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, performance, and monitoring of endoscopic procedures.
- Ensure the patient’s comfort and well-being throughout the procedure.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Provide education to patients regarding endoscopy procedures and post-procedure care.
- Monitor vital signs and assist in patient recovery post-procedure.
- Sterilize and manage endoscopy equipment, ensuring all infection control protocols are followed.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare staff to deliver comprehensive care.
- Provide patient assessments and assist with pre-procedure evaluations.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- At least 2-5 years of clinical experience in Endoscopy or relevant nursing specialties.
- Valid Nursing License in Qatar or eligibility to obtain a license with the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP).
- Strong knowledge of endoscopy procedures, equipment, and patient care practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
