Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Microbiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing microbial samples, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological tests on samples to detect and identify microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, viruses, etc.)
- Conduct routine microbiological analysis of water, food, and environmental samples.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety protocols.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of test results, procedures, and analysis.
- Support product quality assurance through microbiological testing and analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the safety and effectiveness of products.
- Investigate and troubleshoot any microbial issues in manufacturing processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and regulatory changes in microbiology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field.
- Proven 05 Years of experience in a microbiology lab, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Strong knowledge of microbiological testing techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and guidelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role in Qatar or the GCC region is highly desirable.
