Job Summary & Scope:
The Desktop Support Executive is responsible for providing direct support to end users of computers, printers,
mobile devices, and related peripherals. The technician will test, diagnose, document, repair, and/or replace
devices as necessary. The technician may also be assigned to provide technical support to organizational projects
that require the relocation or deployment of computing resources.
Essential Job Functions & Key responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.
- Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.
- ¢ Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail,
network and peripheral equipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where - e required. Advising on software or hardware upgrades.
- « Providing basic training in computer operation and management.
- ¢ Completing job reports and ordering supplies.
- ¢ Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital
assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches. - * Liaise with the various business units and discuss the desired workflows and application functionality to
- support them.
- Responsible for updating the content on the hospital website
- Act as a liaison between the end user, Technology team and outside vendors.
- Conduct periodic reviews of the application vendors performance and submits reports on it.
Knowledge & Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field of study.
Experience :
Minimum 3 years of experience
