  • Introduced the “one day” Total hip and Total knee replacement to the Kuwaiti private healthcare system, along with the postoperative enhanced recovery program
  • The first to perform Total hip replacement as a “day case” in Kuwait
  • The first to perform bilateral Total hip replacement in Kuwait
  • Regional AO faculty at the AO hip complex reconstruction course, Oct 2022, Dubai

  • Primary medical degree from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2005
  • Trained in the United Kingdom on the prestigious higher surgical training rotation of Newcastle, working at world-renowned major trauma centers, highly advanced orthopedic units and tertiary referral centers
  • UK board certified (CCT orth) in 2020. This was further followed by dual fellowship training. The first in complex lower limb arthroplasty, working at a tertiary arthroplasty unit. The second was in complex trauma. Both fellowships at the James Cook University hospital, UK, one of the largest major trauma units in Europe
  • Consultant orthopedic hip & knee surgeon at the East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, UK
  • Consultant orthopedic hip and knee surgeon in Kuwait, for the last 2 years, introducing hip and knee advanced services and establishing “the hip and knee center” at New Mowasat Hospital, Kuwait
  • Over 4000 recorded procedures in hip/knee primary and revision arthroplasty, hip and knee arthroscopies and general trauma
