Job Description: The Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Inpatient Department (M/S IPD) will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in the Medical/Surgical Inpatient Department.
  • Assess and monitor patients’ health conditions and progress.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in continuous education and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Qatar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical/surgical inpatient setting.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
