Room Service Senior Supervisor

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Room Service Senior Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our room service department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient meals and exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of room service staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Coordinate and manage patient meal orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of delivery
• Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure adherence to hospital standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and dietary services to accommodate patient dietary restrictions and preferences
• Maintain inventory of room service supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
• Implement and enforce sanitation and safety protocols in compliance with health regulations
• Handle patient inquiries and concerns regarding room service, providing prompt and effective resolutions
• Prepare reports on department performance and metrics as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hospital or healthcare setting is required
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent customer service skills and a dedication to patient satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and food service management software
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
